Winter Challenge

Wow winter sure is getting meaner each day, I didn't think it would be this hard commuting, but it seems that I'm running out of gas halfway through my commute. Going uphill in front of Wilfrid is proving to be quite a challenge, one of my co-worker saw going up this hill and he mentioned that I was grinding out on the low gears, which is true. Seems to be the multiple layers and low PSI on the tires adds up to the challenge of my commute.

Now I'm worried that adding studded tires might prove to be more of a burden, however if it will prove to be stable on ice I might be able to bump up my PSI so I could ride faster on pavement.

I think strava should add a winter challenge, for those of us brave enough to commute through this kind of weather.
